Century 21 Records Label Discography
Century 21 Records was an offshoot of Pye active from 1965-67. It largely released orchestral TV themes by the Barry Gray Orchestra from classic Gerry And Sylvia Anderson shows such as Stingray, Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet. There were a few full length LPs released, but they quickly realised their core audience were more likely to be able to afford picture sleeve EPs. Many of these are now ferociously rare and finding even VG+ condition copies is a real challenge as many were quickly wrecked by young fans. Some of the most iconic releases are now fetching good prices on the rare occasions they come up. Overall probably one of the hardest labels in the world to collect.
The label name was recently revived for the release of some CD compilations and replica 7", but we are just going to list the classic 60s originals. There were a total of 6 LPs and 37 EPs released over a three year period.
