Soul City was a UK soul label run by David Nathan and Robert Blackmore from a record shop of the same name in London. The label released 19 singles, the biggest hit being Gene Chandler's "Nothing Can Stop Me" which reached Number 41 in the UK charts. Soul City records were initially distributed by Island.
